I don’t ever try to be a specialist in any type of music. I just know what I like and hopefully, you, the reader will find out about an artist here or over at Consumed By Music And Media and become a fan.
With that in mind some may notice that hip hop comes up rarely. For me the quality of music from that genre of music is at a low. The amount of lower caliber music that is pushed at us is sad.
Perhaps that could stand for many other genres as well. How many copies of one artist do we need in R&B? How many “rock” bands need to use the same riff? How many pop stars need to be manufactured and force fed to us?
Why I do these blogs?
I do these to celebrate the music that I love. I do this for those who are open-minded and willing to check out an artist despite what music they usually listen to. This is to give an artist that is not a copy of another artist that was produced in a lab (record label) setting a little shine.
For those of you who have been showing support by checking up on what I have done I thank you. To those artists that have taken the time to check what was posted and have taken that extra time to contact me, to thank me for supporting them, thank you for doing what you do.
